Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 networking: VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Meraki, or equivalent vendors.
- Skilled in configuring firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, wireless controllers, SD-WAN solutions.
- Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nagios, tcpdump).
- Familiarity with cloud-based networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNets, GCP network) preferred.
- Knowledge of automation and scripting (Ansible, Python, Terraform) is highly desirable.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate across global teams.
- Detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks; proactive in continuous learning and documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2–8 years of network engineering or administration experience.
- Certifications like CCNA/CCNP (or equivalent from Juniper/Checkpoint) required.
- CCIE, JNCIE, or security certifications are a plus.
