Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Conversion: Meet daily targets for outbound calls, qualified leads, and maintain strong conversion ratios from prospect to customer​
  • Revenue Ownership: Drive end-to-end sales cycles and achieve monthly/quarterly revenue goals through consultative selling​
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with prospective learners, corporate clients, and key stakeholders​
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with organizational growth objectives​
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, industry trends, and customer needs to inform product and sales strategies​
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to optimize customer experience and improve conversion funnels​
  • Performance Reporting: Provide regular updates on pipeline health, sales metrics, and market insights to senior leadership​

Requirements:

  • Experience & Background
    • 0-9 years of experience in business development, B2C sales, or consultative selling roles
    • Freshers with strong communication skills and passion for sales are welcome to apply
    • Prior experience in EdTech, online learning platforms, or technology-driven sales environments is a plus​
    • Demonstrated track record of meeting targets (for experienced candidates)​
  • Skills & Competencies
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities​
    • Strong analytical and strategic thinking to identify market opportunities​
    • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and ownership mindset​
    • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite​
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
